Dear Student Teacher

As a final portfolio for EDCP580 - Assessment in Mathematics, I've compiled a collection of letters addressed to a "student teacher" with a variety of assessment strategies and discussions. These letters are meant to be useful for a new teacher, while also tackling the overarching themes of assessment covered in this course.  Authentic assessment that encourages critical thinking, conceptual understanding, and meaningful engagement sounds too good to be true, yet is what educators strive for.
